The aim of O.Kalpaks Riga Folk Art Primary School is to make a creative and competitive individuality, ready for the changing world.

We offer general school subjects and subjects of Arts and special subjects – drawing, painting, wood, ceramics, glass work, leather design, fashion and textile design (knitting, silk painting, weaving etc.).

In the last year of studies students work at a diploma work, present it.

During the school year there are organized shows, exhibitions. At the end of every semester, before Christmas and in May there are annual shows of students’ works. Everybody is welcome!

The school takes part in national and international competitions.

After the renovation, the school has light classrooms, workshops with modern equipment,
an exhibition hall.

The art subjects are taught by highly professional teachers- in Art, Home Economics and professional artists.
